Cascading headers

When you edit any page there is an Edit tab named Cascading Header Doc. This is a document that appears above the page title and is intended to let you define banners initially (although it could be used for other purposes if required).

If a page does not have a Cascading Header Doc then the system will look at the parent page, and so on up to the top level page in the hierarchy and will use the first definition that it finds.

This means that if you only define a banner on the very top level page then it will be the same across the entire site, but if you define a different banner on /en and /gd then the two languages will have different headers.

You can create as many banners as you like but it is probably worth trying to keep the aspect ratio of the banners consistent as otherwise you will break the sense of consistency that you get when you move around the site.
